Meet The Team

Head Coach
Shauna Synder
Hailing from the basketball hotbed of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Shauna Snyder's journey through the hoops world is nothing short of remarkable. A standout athlete since her days at Cibola High School, Shauna's talent and dedication have earned her a place in the school's Hall of Fame and the prestigious title of Gatorade Player of the Year in 2003. Following her high school success, Shauna's skills caught the attention of recruiters nationwide, leading to a full ride scholarship to play Division 1 basketball at Providence College in Rhode Island. There, she etched her name into the record books, becoming a member of the coveted 1000-point club and leaving an indelible mark on the program. But Shauna's passion for the game didn't stop on the court. After hanging up her jersey, she transitioned seamlessly into coaching. Today, Shauna stands as the only female assistant coach for the Santa Ana Thunder, where her leadership and mentorship are shaping the stars of tomorrow.
